Metaverses Take Action - Aloki's Reforestation Efforts

Global warming, climate change, can be contentious topics. But whether you believe in it or not, there is no debate about the devastating fires that took place in the Amazon and around the world. Aloki, is creating a play-to-own metaverse that is close to launching. The blockchain company also acquired 750 acres of land down in Costa Rica.

Aloki is proposing mirroring the trees being planted in their metaverse onto the land in Costa Rica. Why Costa Rica? According to Aloki, this country is one of the global leaders in sustainability and is on its way to becoming carbon neutral.

There are a lot of projects in the crypto space that are looking to take steps toward a cleaner future, with entire blockchains taking on sustainable initiatives and classifying themselves as “green chains” such as Cardano and Algorand.

Aloki’s basic activities will be launched in the latter half of 2022, with the complete introduction of the metaverse happening earlier next year.
