Could Metaverse AI Take Over Competitions?

AI taking over humanity is not a new concept, but now with advancements in the metaverse, could it be possible? Maybe, with what happened on an episode of a beloved show recently. Not just any competition, but one of the world’s most viewed talent competitions – America’s Got Talent. 

The judges, especially Simon Cowell, are not easily wowed by performances, but was this the case when Metaphysic, a metaverse company came onto the show? The representatives, a former AGT contestant, Daniel Emmet and the founders of Metaphysic, Chris Ume and Tom Graham impressed audiences. 

What happened? While Daniel Emmet took to the stage with his stunning voice, he transformed into Simon Cowell before everyone’s eyes. The performance looked insanely real to say the least. Of course, they advanced to the next round.

What does this say about the future of the metaverse? Well, we now know that our likeness can be changed with tech (and in a very impressive way). How will this ability be used in the future? That remains to be seen.
