CFO of NFT Marketplace OpenSea Exits
The Chief Financial Officer of the largest NFT marketplace OpenSea, Brian Roberts, has been in his role for less than a year. Before that, he was the CFO of Lyft, a ride-sharing service. Roberts announces his leave before making it to the one-year mark.
Roberts’ exit from a C-level position comes in the wake of multiple previous exits of people in high-ranking positions in other companies such as the CEO of Kraken. Could the cause be the bear market? Roberts has stated that he remains bullish in the web3 industry, but it does create some cause for concern for everyday crypto and NFT supporters.
Are people losing faith in the industry, or will this too pass? However, all is not lost as Brian Roberts also stated that he will remain with the team in an advisory role.
